Why do Intel® MAX® 10 devices sometimes fail to function normally after successful programming with a POF file?

    Description

    Due to a problem in Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software version 20.1 and earlier, you may see Intel® MAX® 10 devices sometimes fail to function normally after successful programming with a POF file. Subsequent verification of the device will fail, showing the device flash content is corrupted. 

    Resolution

    You can identify this problem by verifying the device after you program it, then you can re-program the device again until it passes a standalone verification after programming.

    This problem is fixed starting with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software version 21.1.
