What if I have the Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiFi Connection Utility installed on my PC that I am upgrading to Windows 8* or Windows 8.1*?

If you are upgrading from Windows 7* to Windows 8* or Windows 8.1*, review recommendations before upgrading.

If you are upgrading from Windows 8* to Windows 8.1*, the utility continues to work as before. You must upgrade your software.

Do Intel Bluetooth® adapters work in Windows 8 or Windows 8.1?

Yes. Microsoft installs basic Bluetooth® drivers that allow you to use your Intel Bluetooth® adapter. You must upgrade your Intel Bluetooth® driver to take advantage of advanced settings and more profiles.

Does Intel® WiDi work in Windows 8 or Windows 8.1?

Yes. You must update your software after upgrading to Windows 8* or Windows 8.1.

Does Intel® My WiFi Dashboard work in Windows 8 or Windows 8.1?

Intel® My WiFi Dashboard does work in Windows 8. You will need to manually update your software after upgrading to Windows 8. The dashboard does not work with Windows 8.1.

Does the Intel® WiMAX Adapter work in Windows 8 or Windows 8.1?

Yes. You need to update your software after upgrading to Windows 8 or Windows 8.1.
