Intel® Virtual RAID on CPU (Intel® VROC) Command-Line Interface (CLI) Utility for Windows* is Unable to Generate XML Reports

After trying multiple times and using multiple formats, it was not possible to generate the XML report using the Intel® VROC CLI tool (IntelVROCCli.exe), and an error indicates the request is not valid:
> IntelVROCCLI.exe --xml --xmlfile FileName.xml
> INVALID_REQUEST: Unrecognized command, request was formatted incorrectly.
A bug in the Intel® VROC software package for Windows* prior to the version 8.x was found. This bug prevents the Intel® VROC CLI tool from generating the XML report using the parameter -xml.
This bug has been fixed in the Intel® VROC release 9.0. Consult with the platform manufacturer to update your Intel® VROC version if you are using an older release.
