Description

After updating the BIOS to version 0043, the Intel® NUC experiences display issues on USB-C or Thunderbolt monitors. The types of issues range from no video output, system freezes, or no boot when using a USB-C or Thunderbolt monitor.

If Using HDMI® cables, there are no display issues and the Intel® NUC works fine.

This is impacting different 11th Gen Intel® NUC11PA SKUs and different monitor models. The same monitors work when connected to other systems.

Resolution

Update the BIOS to version 0046 or later which should address the issue. If needed, refer to the BIOS update instructions.
