How to resolve boot failure during startup.

Description

During a system boot, the following error message is displayed:

BIOS has detected unsuccessful POST attempt(s). Possible causes include recent changes to BIOS, Performance Options, or recent hardware changes. Press ‘Y’ to enter Setup or ‘N’ to cancel and attempt to reboot with previous settings.

Resolution
  1. Disconnect any external USB drives when starting  the system
  2. Disable the fast startup OS option
    1. Press the Windows Key
    2. Type control panel to display the application and click to launch it
    3. Click Hardware and Sound
    4. Click Power Options
    5. Click Choose what the power buttons do (located on the left side)
    6. Click Change settings that are currently unavailable and uncheck Turn on fast startup (recommended)
