Showing whether 2nd Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors can be immersive cooled in 3M Novec* insulating refrigerant
Resolution
Intel has not tested the 3M Novec* insulating refrigerant with the 2nd Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors (formerly Cascade Lake).
Intel recommends contacting 3M to see if testing has been done with additional Intel® Xeon® Processors. Intel also recommends contacting the system manufacturer if they have a list of compatible immersion cooling thermal solutions.

| Note | There is a 2014 document regarding 3M's use of the 3M Novec* Engineered Fluids with older Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-2600 Product Family. However, Intel does not have further information if other Intel Xeon Processors have also been tested by 3M. |
