Attempting to disable Intel® Optane™ memory system acceleration in the System BIOS

Resolution

Deconcatenate is available in the system BIOS to disable, or separate, the Intel® Optane™ memory volume. The option to Preserve User Data during this process relates to the preservation of data on the drive being accelerated and the Intel Optane memory device after they are separated.

Note
  • Select Yes to Preserve User Data unless there is no data to recover after separation.
  • Save the BIOS before exiting or the drive boot order may not reflect the changes made.
