Description

When the NUC has a MS LX-6000 headset connected it will not boot to the operating system. Once the headset is removed the NUC will complete the booting process into the operating system.

Resolution

The Headset Firmware version is the cause of this problem. The Intel® NUC 10 Performance kit - NUC10i5FNK is not compatible with this current version of the MS LX-6000

  • The firmware of the headset is outdated when compared with the firmware of the NUC.
  • Microsoft needs to release a new firmware update for it.
  • Contact the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to check if there is any firmware update is available to work with the new generation of NUCs.
