Why Are the Intel® Network Adapters Not Letting System Boot?

Environment

Intel® Gigabit CT Desktop Adapter. Intel® Network Server adapters.

Description

When the adapter is connected on the PCI port the system is not booting nor being detected.

Resolution

Troubleshooting steps:

  1. With the power cable disconnected from the computer, remove the network adapter add-in card.
  2. Test the system with a different add-in card to test if the system boots fine.
  3. Then reinstall the affected card to confirm if the issue is still happening.
