Note | While Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (Intel® DSA) can detect and offer upgrades for many of the drivers and software that are available on Download Center, you may have an Intel product that isn’t supported by this tool. Before you use Intel® DSA, refer to this page to ensure that your product is compatible with Intel® DSA. |
Changing the folder location of your downloaded drivers
By default, the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant places downloaded drivers in C:\ProgramData\Intel\DSA\Downloads.
To change the location for downloaded drivers:
- Run the Intel® DSA scan and choose Settings from the menu on the left side of the screen.
- Under Folder Location, choose the blue Change location button.
- Choose the new location and click OK to save the change.
Note | If changing the default folder location, the new folder cannot contain hard links, junction points, symbolic links, and the user needs to have read/write access to the location. |
This application is supported on Windows* 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows® 10, and Windows 11 using Firefox*, Chrome*, or Edge* or Edge Legacy (version 44.17763/18.17763 or newer) browsers. Find out how to check your version of Edge or Edge Legacy.
