This guide provides the most common multiple display configuration options.

Intel® NUC Kits NUC8v7PN, NUC8v5PN, NUC8i3PN have the following:

  • Two HDMI ports (2.0b-compliant)
  • One Type C port

Important! It is not possible to use the "HDMI 2" port AND the Type C port for display at the same time.

  • Multi-stream transport daisy chaining
  • DisplayPort via Type C

Before You Begin

We recommend you first update your Intel NUC to the latest BIOS and Intel® HD Graphics driver, using Intel® Driver & Support Assistant.

Two displays

Daisy-chaining describes the ability to connect multiple monitors using a single connection between each one. All displays and all cables must support the DisplayPort 1.2 specification.
