A +12-19 (±10%) V DC power adapter can be used to power the board.

Description

Trying to use a power supply of 19.5V 7.7A with an Intel® NUC.

Resolution

Intel® NUC Kits with boards NUC8i3BE/NUC8i5BE/NUC8i7BE have the following power supply requirements and specifications:

External Power Supply – the board can be powered through a 12-19 V DC connector on the back panel.
The back panel DC connector is compatible with a 5.5 mm/OD (outer diameter) and 2.5 mm/ID (inner diameter) plug, where the inner contact is +12-19 (±10%) V DC and the shell is GND. The maximum current rating is 10 A.).
The Power Sensing Circuit has also been designed for use with 90 W AC-DC adapters.
