Note We recommend you update your BIOS version, wireless driver, and Bluetooth driver as the first step in resolving wireless or Bluetooth issues. BIOS and drivers are available on Download Center.
Issue or question How to fix it
No wireless connectivity Open the Intel NUC chassis and check that the antenna connections to the wireless component are secure.

Intermittent wireless connectivity
  • Keep the Intel NUC and other electronic devices separated. Interference can happen if devices like CD/DVD and Blu-ray Disc™ drives are too close to the Intel NUC. Devices that transmit strong electromagnetic waves, such as microwaves, baby monitors, and wireless phones, can also interfere with wireless signals.
  • If you are connecting to a 5GHz frequency band, try switching to 2.4GHz, if possible.
Can't wake Intel NUC using Bluetooth mouse or keyboard Wake from Bluetooth isn't supported on all Intel NUC models. See the Wake-up Devices and Events section of the technical product specification for your Intel NUC to find out what types of devices can wake it up.
How to disable wireless/Bluetooth Wireless and Bluetooth can be disabled in BIOS Setup:
  1. Press F2 during boot to enter BIOS Setup.
  2. Go to Advanced > Devices > Onboard Devices.
  3. Disable WLAN and Bluetooth by unchecking the boxes.
  4. Press F10 to save and exit BIOS.
The wireless/Bluetooth solution on an Intel NUC may be either a soldered-down component on the motherboard or an adapter card installed in an M.2 slot, which can be physically removed from the device.
To find out which solution is used by your Intel NUC:
  1. Go to the appropriate link for your device:
  2. Click the Get Started link for your Intel NUC model.
  3. Click the link for See What's in the Box.
