Intel Unite 3.x - How to Enable the Debug Console for the Skype for Business* Plugin for the Intel Unite® app
What am I Seeing?
The debug console of the Skype for Business* plugin won't automatically save a text file and will actually appear below the Intel Unite® hub app.
How to fix it.
You will need to add the following registry key on the hub machine.
To do so, follow these steps:
- Put the hub machine in windowed mode by doing the following:
- Create a 32-bit (DWORD), which will enable windowed mode: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\Intel\Unite\WindowedMode
Then double-click the new key and modify the hex value from 0 to 1. - Locate the CFCLyncPluginConfig.xml file at the hub plugin's installation path file:
- Add this line to enable debug mode:
<Debug>true</Debug>
Note that this line is case sensitive:
- Create a 32-bit (DWORD), which will enable windowed mode: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\Intel\Unite\WindowedMode
- Launch the Intel Unite® hub. You should see another window opening at the same time that will look like this:
- On the hub, arrange an S4B session as you would normally. Once all participants are in the session, you can copy and paste all the content from the debug window.
