What am I seeing?
The Intel Unite® app client application crashes on launch/connect.

How do I work around it?
Run the application with the debug switch and save information to the log file, for example: Intel Unite.exe /debug >log.txt.

If the log file contains the message:
EXCEPTION: - Key not valid for use in specified state.

  1. Close the application.
  2. Delete the C:\Users\eaviles\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\[sid]\d046df file.

Deleting the application requires elevated admin privileges. Because the Intel Unite® application does not run with admin privileges, you have to perform this action manually.
