The ACE (Applying Computers in Education) Program is a joint initiative. The program trains teachers to effectively integrate technology into existing classroom curricula. It fosters creative ways to communicate, express ideas, increase productivity, and access and analyze information, by incorporating:
- Internet use
- Webpage design
- Multimedia software
During 1998, more than 1,200 teachers at seven Intel site communities across the western U.S. received the training with an impact on approximately 50,000 students.
