After learning the art and business of cheese making at creameries in California, England, and elsewhere, Sarah Marcus opened Briar Rose Creamery with her husband in 2010. From the start, they planned for sustainable growth, and recently they realized that their aging PCs were not keeping up with the demands of their business.
Like many small business owners, Marcus didn't crea...te a business to spend time troubleshooting technology or working on administrative tasks. She started Briar Rose Creamery to pursue her passion for making handcrafted goats-milk cheeses and sharing them with appreciative customers. Recently, however, she found that the five-year-old laptop she relied on for business tasks was slowing her down and taking time away from actual cheese making.
