Course Description

This course teaches you how to use the Arm* Streamline tool to accomplish performance analysis of your applications running on Intel SoC FPGA devices. Streamline is a tool included within DS-5 that is included as a part of the SoC Embedded Design Suite (SoCEDS). You will learn to use Streamline with both Linux* OS and bare-metal applications. *Other names and brands may be claimed as the property of others

At Course Completion

You will be able to:

  • Describe the different views and visualizations that Streamline offers
  • Use the gator daemon and kernel module to collect performance metrics
  • Generate, integrate, and compile the source code necessary to perform bare-metal application profiling

  • Basic knowledge of compiling Linux kernel and modules
  • Basic knowledge of compiling bare metal applications
