Course Description

The MAX® 10 device family consists of Altera's smallest, low-cost, instant-on programmable logic devices. MAX 10 FPGAs feature internal User Flash Memory that can be used for general purpose non-volatile storage. This training discusses the properties of the User Flash memory as well as how to instantiate and perform operations on the User Flash Memory.

At Course Completion

You will be able to:

  • Understand the features of the User Flash Memory found in MAX 10 devices
  • Instantiate and parameterize the Altera® On-Chip Flash IP in the Qsys tool or Quartus IP catalog
  • Perform operations on the User Flash Memory block

Skills Required

  • Familiarity with the Quartus® software
  • Familiarity with the Qsys system design tool is a plus
  • Familiarity with Avalon® memory-mapped interfaces
