Fast & Easy I/O System Design with Interface Planner (OBLUEINTRO)
Course Description
High speed I/O interfaces and the standards to support them are increasing in complexity. To support these interfaces in modern FPGAs, interface resource placement rules must be followed to the letter. However, there is no easy way for a designer to follow all the rules and achieve a valid resource floorplan without multiple cycles of placement, compilation, validation, and adjustment. In this training, learn about Interface Planner, formerly known as BluePrint, an easy-to-use tool in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software that uses the power of the Fitter to create a legal floorplan in minutes. Make guaranteed legal resource location assignments interface-by-interface instead of pin-by-pin to shorten your I/O planning cycle. This training includes a lab exercise. At Course Completion
