Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software v20.1, you may see this internal error when you are using the Intel® Quartus®  Prime Programmer tool:

die == DEV_DIE_TYPE_NULL

 

This problem is caused by a missing file when the Intel® Stratix® 10 device is not installed in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software v20.1

Workaround/Fix

To work around this problem, install the Intel® Stratix® 10 device or use the Intel® Quartus® standalone programmer tool.
