Critical Issue
Description
Designs that include a Triple-Speed Ethernet and target a Stratix V device, do not compile even if you have a valid license for the IP core. Refer to Altera solution rd03082011_116 at http://www.altera.com/support/kdb/solutions/rd03082011_116.html.
This issue affects all Triple-Speed Ethernet MegaCore function designs that target a Stratix V device.
Resolution
To fix this issue, if you have a valid license for this IP core, follow these steps:
- Upgrade your Quartus II software installation to the 10.1 Service Pack 1 version.
- Apply Patch 1.19 to your Quartus II software installation.
- Regenerate your IP core and any others in your design that are affected by this issue.
- Recompile your design.
This issue is fixed in version 11.0 of the Triple-Speed Ethernet MegaCore function.
