IBIS (Input Output Buffer Information System) is a fast and accurate behavioral method of modeling I/O buffers based on V/I curve data, derived from measurement or SPICE simulation. IBIS describes the analog behavior of the buffers of a digital device, without revealing the proprietary internal process or architecture information of the devices.
Intel® is among many semiconductor vendors that provide IBIS models for modeling its devices. Intel® provides IBIS models for various types of Intel® FPGA device families.
