Are there any known issues with Stratix V GX transceiver channel numbering in the Quartus II software versions 12.0, 12.0sp1, 12.0sp2 Chip Planner?

    Description

    Yes, there is a known issue with Stratix® V GX transceiver channel numbering in the Quartus® II software versions 12.0, 12.0sp1, 12.0sp2 Chip Planner.

    The chip planner incorrectly reports the transceiver channel numbering as CH0, CH0, CH1, CH1, CH2 and CH2… on the right hand side of the device.

    The correct channel numbering should be CH0, CH1, CH2, CH3, CH4 and CH5…

    Resolution

    This problem will be fixed in a future version of the Quartus II Software.
