Description
Simulation performed on AFI based DDR2 SDRAM High Performance (HP) controller and DDR3 SDRAM HP controller might fail in some cases if "Skip Calibration" is chosen under "Auto-Calibration Simulation Options" in the DDR2/3 SDRAM HP controller Megawizard GUI.
A patch has been created for Quartus® II software versions 9.1SP1 and 9.1SP2 which will let you skip calibration during simulation. You can also perform simulation with "Quick Calibration" option to shorten your simulation time instead of using "Full Calibration" option.
