    Critical Issue

    Description

This problem affects DDR2, DDR3, and LPDDR2 products.

Arria V or Cyclone V external memory interfaces that use the hard memory controller and were generated in the Quartus II software version 13.0 SP1 or earlier, may experience simulation failures in skip calibration mode when you migrate the RTL to a more recent version of the Quartus II software.

    Resolution

The workaround for this issue is to regenerate your IP in the current version of the Quartus II software, before attempting to simulate a design that was created in version 13.0 SP1 or earlier.

This issue will be fixed in a future version.
