Why does the MAX PLUS® II Timing Analyzer give different results than the Compiler for registered performance?

Environment

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description There may be three reasons for this discrepency:
  1. You have not listed all the source nodes in the Timing Analyzer.
  2. You have not listed all the destination nodes in the Timing Analyzer.
  3. You have listed a cut-off node in the in the Timing Analyzer and not the Compiler, or vice versa.

The Compiler does not take these settings into account when reporting maximum performance. For accurate reporting based on your node settings, refer to the Timing Analyzer report.
