Why does Intel® Stratix® 10 Remote System Upgrade reconfiguration sometimes fail by driving nCONFIG?

In Remote System Update, it may sometimes cause reconfigurations to fail, and it will require a power cycle of the Intel® Stratix 10 to recover for configuration.  This problem may be seen at a low probability while reconfiguration is repeated with driving nCONFIG.

This problem applies to either Active Serial Configuration modes, or Avalon-ST configuration modes.

To workaround this problem, use the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 19.2 and download and install patch 0.18fw from the links below.

You must install the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 19.2 stware before installing this patch:

Download the version 19.2 patch 0.18fw for Linux (.run)

Download the version 19.2 patch 0.18fw for Window (.exe)

Download the Readme for the version 19.2 patch 0.18fw (.txt)

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a further release of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software.
