MAX+PLUS II Version 9.62 Update

Warning

All MAX+PLUS II software (including MAX+PLUS® II BASELINE Edition Version 10.2 & Student Edition Version 10.2, and MAX+PLUS II Software Updates versions 10.23 through 8.21) will no longer be available after 3/12/2021. MAX+PLUS II software does not include the latest functional and security updates and will not be supported. All versions are provided as is. Intel recommends that users of MAX+PLUS II software uninstall and discontinue use as soon as possible. Users should upgrade to the latest available software version for their device and follow the technical recommendations to help improve security.

This update can only be used with the MAX+PLUS II software version 9.6 and 9.61. Do not use this update with any other version. You should download and install this update if you wish to add the following support to the MAX+PLUS II software version 9.6:

  • Full compilation, timing, and programming support for the following MAX® 7000B devices:
    • EPM7128BFC256
    • EPM7256BFC256
    • EPM7512BQC208
  • Advance pinout support for the following MAX 7000B and ACEXTM 1K devices:
    • EP1K10TC100
    • EP1K10TC144
    • EP1K10QC208
    • EP1K10FC256
    • EPM7032BUC49
    • EPM7064BUC49
  • Fix a problem where a peculiar clock skew value was reported
  • Fix a problem where a hold time of 2000 ns is reported
  • Fix a problem where running simulation immediately after compilation causes a screen failure and error messages
  • Fix an error while compiling a peripheral component interconnect (PCI) function
  • Fix a problem with EPM7512B compilation freezes
  • Fix a problem with 10K130E-2 tCO reporting
  • Fix a problem compiling 0 LC designs using the Quartus® Fitter
  • Fix a problem where the Quartus Fitter picked larger devices than the regular fitter
