This update can only be used with MAX+PLUS II version 9.21, 9.22, 9.23, or 9.24 for PCs or 9.21 for Sun Solaris or HP workstations. Do not use this update with any other version. You should download and install this update if you wish to add the following support to MAX+PLUS II version 9.21, 9.22, 9.23, or 9.24.

Fixes programmming error in the version 9.24a update that affected EPM7128E, EPM7128S, EPM7128A, EPM7256E, EPM7256S, or EPM7256A devices with the Altera® Master Programming Unit (MPU). Programming with this software version and the MPU can cause permanent damage to the devices. This problem does not affect EPM7128AE or EPM7256AE devices.
