Update Details
The MAX+PLUS II version 10.0 software generates Programmer Object Files (.pof) with an incorrectly disabled programmable ground feature. This POF setting is different from the settings described in the report file. If the programmable ground pins are connected to the board's ground, the MAX® 7000B device will experience extremely high ICC due to contention on these pins.
The MAX+PLUS II software version 10.01 update provides the corrected settings for this programmable ground feature. All MAX 7000B designs must be recompiled with version 10.01 or later. Other device families are not affected by this problem.
