report_ports (::quartus::eco)

Syntax report_ports [-h | -help] [-long_help] [-name <node_name> ] [-node <node_id> ] [-return_result] [-timing]
Arguments -h | -help Short help
-long_help Long help with examples and possible return values
-name <node_name> Name of the node to query
-node <node_id> Node ID
-return_result Return the result in a tcl object
-timing Report the slacks on each port
The report_ports command will report all input ports of a node.
In command-line mode, the result will be posted as info messages to the console.
If -timing is specified then the slacks on each port will be reported.
If -return_result is specified then the result will also be returned as a
tcl object.
Example Usage
report_ports -name my_ff
report_ports -name my_ff -timing
report_ports -name my_ff -return_result

# get input ports of a FF
project_open top
set node [get_netlist_node_id -name my_ff]
report_ports -node $node
