Edit Commands (Edit Menu) (Platform Designer)

You access these commands in Platform Designer from the Edit.
  • Edit—Launches the parameter editor for the selected module, which allows you to edit the module properties.
  • Add—Allows you to add an instance of a component.
  • Rename—Allows you to rename the selected module.
  • Duplicate—Allows you to create a duplicate of the selected module.
  • Remove—Allows you to remove the selected module from the Platform Designer system.
  • Lock Base Address—For auto-assigned base addresses, allows you to either lock or unlock the base address of the selected component.
  • Set Color—Allows you to change the color of a connection arrow in the Connections column on the System Contents tab.
