Write out signal activities used during power analysis
Directs the Power Analyzer to create a Signal Activity File (.saf) Definition file, which records the toggle rates and static probabilities that occur during power analysis. If you select this option, you must specify a file name in the accompanying Output file name box.
Turn on this option if you are using a large Value Change Dump File (.vcd) Definition produced by a third-party simulator. By recording signal activities to a Signal Activity File during the initial running of the Analyzer, you can then use this Signal Activity File as input to subsequent power analyses, thereby saving the time required to reread a large Value Change Dump File (.vcd) Definition file.
