lpm_mux, mux and busmux Altera^® IP

Parameterized multiplexer Altera^® IP. Altera recommends that you use the lpm_mux function to replace all other multiplexer functions.

The mux and busmux Altera^® IP are derived from lpm_mux, and are intended to simplify the use of lpm_mux in Block Design File (.bdf) Definition:

• The busmux function is equivalent to an lpm_mux function with LPM_SIZE set to 2.
• The mux function is equivalent to an lpm_mux function with LPM_WIDTH set to 1.

The lpm_mux, mux, and busmux Altera^® IP are available for all Altera devices.

Altera recommends instantiating this function with the IP Catalog.
