Read Information from In-System Memory Commands (Processing Menu)
You access these commands from the Processing menu
in the In-System Memory Content Editor window.
The following commands allow you to update selected words and instances and continuously monitor changes to in-system memory in the In-System Memory Content Editor:

Read Data From In-System Memory | Updates the selected instance Definition in the HEX Editor pane with data from in-system memory. |
Continuously Read Data from In-System Memory | Continuously updates the selected instance in the HEX Editor pane with data from in-system memory. You can use this command, for example, to continuously monitor changes to in-system memory |
Read Selected Words from In-System Memory | Updates the selected words in the HEX Editor pane with data from in-system memory |
Continuously Read Selected Words from In-System Memory | Continuously updates the selected words in the HEX Editor pane with data from in-system memory. You can use this command, for example, to continuously monitor in-system memory for changes to the selected words. |
Note: Data or words that changed since the last read appear in the HEX Editor pane in either red or blue. Reading data or words from in-system memory is performed
independently of the system clock in the device.
