Timing Analyzer Wizard

You begin this wizard by clicking Tools > Timing Analyzer Wizard in the Timing Analyzer tool.

The Timing Analyzer Wizard allows you to create initial timing constraints for your design, including clock settings, t_SU , t_H , and t_PD constraints. If your design uses a phase-locked loop (PLL), you can use the wizard to specify the input frequency of the pin and to create the settings to generate the PLL output clocks.

Run Analysis and Synthesis before creating timing constraints using this wizard.
