Intel® Quartus® Prime Archive File (.qar) Definition
A compressed file (with the file extension .qar) that contains compressed versions of the Intel® Quartus® Prime project files as they existed when they were archived. The Intel® Quartus® Prime software automatically selects files to include in a Intel® Quartus® Prime Archive File, but you can rearrange, remove, or add files to the contents of a Intel® Quartus® Prime Archive File before you create it. A Intel® Quartus® Prime Archive File can include a project's design files, source files, and ancillary files, as well as system libraries. You can restore a Intel® Quartus® Prime Archive File multiple times.
