File Properties Dialog Box (Block Editor)

You open this dialog box by selecting VHDL in File Types in the Create HDL Design for Current File dialog box, and then clicking Add VHDL Statements.

Allows you to add VHDL statements to the new VHDL Design File (.vhd) Definition you created for the current Block Design File (.bdf) Definition.

File Properties tab
  • File name— Displays the full path name of the file.
  • Type— Displays or allows you to set the file type.
  • Library— Displays or allows you to specify the library.
  • Design entry\synthesis tool— Displays or allows you to set a third-party EDA tool for the file.
  • Modified— Displays the date and time of the most recent modification of the file.
VHDL Statements tab

Allows you to include VHDL statements in the VHDL Design File created for the current Block Design File.
