database files Definition

Files that contain project compilation data. The Intel^® Quartus^® Prime software creates, reads, and updates these files during compilation, simulation, and other processes.

These files exist in the qdb subdirectory, and are saved hierarchically.

The Intel^® Quartus^® Prime software also allows the creation of version-compatible database files.
