ID:171053 Can't globally route <number> more signal(s) into a region -- <number> global signals have been allocated to the region but the hardware only allows <number> global signals

CAUSE: The Fitter cannot honor a constraint because it would require that one or more signals would need to be globally routed into a region, but that would exceed the available global routing resources in the region. The messages that follow list the signals that would require the extra global routing resources if the constraint were honored, and also the signals that are already allocated global routing resources in the region.

ACTION: Refer to the messages that appear above this message to determine what constraint cannot be honored. One of the following actions may resolve the issue.
  • Remove the constraint that could not be honored.
  • Remove or relax location constraints on nodes requiring the global routing resources in the given region.
  • Set the Global Signal logic option to OFF for some of the signals that are allocated global routing resources in the given region. You may do this for that entire global signal, or only between that global signal and destination nodes in the specified region. The previous messages indicate the destination nodes requiring the globally routed signals.
