ID:287109 Expression to the left of period (.) must be symbolic name for megafunction, macrofunction, primitive, or state machine
CAUSE: In a Text Design File (.tdf), you used a period (.) and port name with an expression in the Logic Section, but the expression is not a symbolic name that you defined as a megafunction, macrofunction, or primitive in an Instance Declaration or in-line logic function reference, or as a state machine in a State Machine Declaration. When you use a period and a port name with an expression, the expression must be a symbolic name for a megafunction, macrofunction, primitive, or state machine because only these items have ports.
ACTION: Perform one of the following actions:
- Define the expression as a symbolic name for an instance of an Intel-provided parameterized megafunction.
- Define the expression as a symbolic name for an instance of an Intel-provided unparameterized megafunction or primitive.
- Define the expression as a symbolic name for an instance of a custom megafunction or macrofunction.
- Define the expression as a symbolic name for a state machine.
- Remove the period and port name from the expression.
- Change the expression to an existing symbolic name for a megafunction, macrofunction, primitive, or state machine.
