ID:209025 Can't recognize silicon ID for device <number>. A device's silicon ID is different from its JTAG ID. Verify that all cables are securely connected, select a different device, or check the power on the target system. Make sure the device pins are connected and configured correctly.

CAUSE: You directed the Programmer to program the specified device, but the Programmer cannot recognize the silicon ID from the device. As a result, programming was unsuccessful. A silicon ID is a vendor's proprietary ID used to recognize the device. A device's silicon ID is different from its JTAG ID. The problem can be caused by one or more of the following conditions:
  • MSEL pins are not set for Active Serial (AS) configuration.
  • Communications cable(s) not securely connected.
  • Incorrect device selected.
  • No power to target system.
  • Device pins connected incorrectly.
  • Driving the flash interface pins with another device.
  • Undefined devices in the JTAG chain.

ACTION: Make sure that the MSEL pins are set for Active Serial (AS) configuration. Make sure that all cables are securely connected, select a different device, or check the power on the target system. If you are using an enhanced configuration device, make sure that the device pins are connected correctly, and that the flash interface pins of the enhanced configuration device are not being driven by another device. Enter the JTAG parameters for undefined devices.
