ID:171006 The Fitter cannot add location assignment <name> to node <name> with existing location assignment <name>

CAUSE: The Fitter is attempting to add a new location assignment to a node that has an existing location assignment. The new location assignment is not compatible with the existing location assignment of the node. This may be due to incompatible location constraints arising from different versions of the Quartus Prime software or incorrect editing of the Quartus Prime Settings File (.qsf).

ACTION: To avoid receiving this message in the future, Intel recommends using the Assignment Editor to create and change assignments, rather than editing the Quartus Prime Settings File manually. Moreover, back-annotation of location assignments may not work if you change Quartus Prime software versions, since synthesis changes may alter the netlist structure or node names. Version compatible databases provide a more robust way to move a fit from one version of Quartus Prime software to another version. Incremental compile provides a more robust way to preserve a design's placement or routing than back-annotation within one version of the Quartus Prime software.
