CAUSE: You attempted to name a region using a name that contains more than the maximum number of characters allowed, or is empty, or contains invalid characters. If the illegal name appears in the Quartus Prime Settings File (.qsf), the associated region is ignored by the Quartus Prime software.

ACTION: If this warning message appears when you try to rename a region within the Quartus Prime software, retry the operation using a different name. If this warning message appears after you manually edit the Quartus Prime Settings File, correct the Quartus Prime Settings File so that the region is recognized in subsequent compilations.
