ID:176227 Can't pack node <name> and I/O node <name> -- no registers available for I/O cell

CAUSE: You turned on the Auto Packed Registers logic option and turned on the Fast Input Register logic option for the specified nodes. The specified node can also be a PLL compensated pin in source synchronous mode. However, the Fitter cannot pack the nodes because the I/O cell in which it is trying to pack the nodes does not have any registers available for packing. This error may occur because a particular I/O cell has already been packed with other registers. I/O cell register packing can only be completed if there are available registers within the I/O cell. An I/O cell can have three registers if it is a bidirectional pin, two registers if it is an output register, and only one register if it is an input I/O pin.

ACTION: If you don't want the Fitter to pack the nodes, no action is required. Otherwise, make sure that the Fast Input Register logic option is not turned on for other registers connected to the I/O cell.

CAUSE: You turned on the Auto Packed Registers logic option and turned on the Fast Output Register and/or Fast Output Enable Register logic options for the specified nodes. However, the Fitter cannot pack the nodes because the I/O cell in which it is trying to pack the nodes does not have any registers available for packing. This error may occur because a particular I/O cell has already been packed with another register. I/O cell register packing can only be completed if there are available registers within the I/O cell. An I/O cell can pack only one registered logic cell driving the output or output enable port of an I/O cell.

ACTION: If you don't want the Fitter to pack the nodes, no action is required. Otherwise, make sure that the Fast Output Register and/or Fast Output Enable Register logic options were not turned on for other registers connected to the I/O cell.
