ID:308042 (High) <text>. (Reporting threshold:<number>). Found <number> node(s) related to this rule.

CAUSE: In the current design, the Design Assistant found the specified number of nodes where you did not specify a clock signal as a global signal. However, all the clock signals should be global signals. A non-global clock signal can be slower and have a larger skew than global signals because regular routing resources must distribute the non-global clock signal.
  1. This warning can occur when you use more clock signals in the design than you can specify as global signals.
  2. For all designs, this rule applies only after the Fitter processes the design.
  3. If you do not specify a clock signal as a global signal, but you turn on the Auto Global Clock logic option for the design, the Fitter can automatically choose the clock signal as a global signal. If the Fitter chooses all the clock signals as global signals, this warning does not occur.
The submessage(s) of this message list the node(s) that the Design Assistant found.

ACTION: Specify all the clock signals as global signals using the Global Signal logic option, or reduce the number of clock signals in the design so you can specify all the clock signals as global signals. You can also turn on the Auto Global Clock logic option for the design; the Fitter may automatically choose all the clock signals as global signals. If the design needs to use more clock signals than you can specify as global signals, implement the clock signals with the lowest fan-out using regular routing resources. Also, implement the fastest clock signals as global signals.
