Setting Up the Synplify Working Environment

To use the Intel® Quartus® Prime software with the Synopsys® Synplify software, establish an environment that facilitates entering and processing designs. To set up the Synplify working environment:
  1. Read the Release Notes and readme.txt file before installing the Intel® Quartus® Prime software.
    1. The Intel® Quartus® Prime Software Release Notes are available on the Intel FPGA website Definition and provide up-to-date information on which versions of Synplify applications the current version of the Intel® Quartus® Prime software supports.
    2. The Intel® Quartus® Primereadme.txt file provides information on installation and operating requirements.
  2. Install the Intel® Quartus® Prime software.
    After installation, you can open the Release Notes and readme.txt file from the Intel® Quartus® Prime Help menu.
