Write Information to In-System Memory Commands (Processing Menu)

You access these commands by clicking them on the Processing menu. These commands are available only when the In-System Memory Content Editor is open.

The following commands allow you to save words or the contents of a selected instance Definition in theHEX Editorpane of the In-System Memory Content Editor:

  • Write All Modified Words to In-System Memory Command— Saves all words changed in the HEX Editor pane to in-system memory.
  • Write Data to In-System Memory Command— Saves the contents of the selected instance in the HEX Editor pane to in-system memory.
  • Write Selected Words to In-System Memory Command— Saves the selected words in the HEX Editor pane to in-system memory.
Note: You can write to in-system memory at any time; however, because the writing of data to in-system memory is independent of the system clock in the device, you might overwrite data that is simultaneously being written by the system, or the system might simultaneously overwrite the data you are writing.
