Auto RAM Block Balancing logic option

A logic option that enables the Compiler to automatically use different memory types when using auto RAM blocks and allows the Compiler to use different RAM partitions with the same memory types.

This option is useful for finding areas of the design that can be implemented more efficiently, and as a result, minimizing the area and maximizing the speed of the design. During design fitting, a Intel® FPGA IP may use a RAM partition that cannot fit in the design due to unbalanced use of RAM resources. This logic option allows the Compiler to dynamically change RAM partitions and balance resource usage when using different RAM block types.

This option is available for all Intel devices supported by the Intel® Quartus® Prime software except MAX series devices.
